English and Taglish in the Philippines
English is the second official language in the Philippines. It is a subject in every English school, at all levels. That’s the reason many Filipinos speak English.
I know that even in the US and England you will find funny misspellings all over.
But in the Philippines….. spelling the words correctly is a different thing.
Filipino or Taglish is a mixture of the Traditional Tagalog mixed with modern (American) English and is used all the time and everywhere.
