Marikina City has recovered from the ONDOY flooding dissaster. I wrote about it in several posts earlier. Check on the sitemap HERE for these reports.
It’s Christmas time now. Marikina City has made a nice display for this event by telling the story of Christmas. It is told by the mayor to a few children, not in live person but using moving and talking puppets in a beatifull display at the Marikina City Hall. I have been seeing the preparing of this display a few weeks ago and took some pictures.

It was only yesterday that we were able to go there and see the show.
The show is played between 6 PM and 11 PM every day and every 30 minutes. The whole show is about 15 minutes long and really worth being seen.
For those who are living too far from Marikina, I brought my camera and make a few shots of it, showing now below.

The display is also shown at YouTube:

Nice to see the Christmas display, Jan. Good to be in the Philippines where the true meaning of Christmas can be expressed without any government interference like back in America.
